Halloween n Fall listings!

It has been a long time since my last listing on Ebay, but I am giving it another try. I listed 3 items and have a 4th, but not sure how to package a painting! If anyone has any tips for me I would love to hear them! Here are the pics and I will include my link to ebay at the end.

Satellite Dish Gazebo!

I had ran across a blog a while back that had a pic of an old satellite dish used as the roof of a gazebo! Well I have been on the hunt for one and finally found one on Craigslist! It has been in our yard waiting patiently to be transformed! Well that day finally came! I started painting and my hubby started digging the holes for the poles! Still need more white paint, but it is a start! We are going to put a concrete floor and banisters all around as well as benches! I am so excited! It is close to where we laid our sweet Maverick to rest.
Here are some pics. I look awful, but I was off and didn't want to put on make up to do yard work! LOL

On another note, I just had my 6 month check up and it didn't go too well. I got sick during the CT scan. My youngest daughter went with me. I don't know how I drove home that day. I had such a terrible headache to boot too. I think it was from not having my morning coffee. I had my tests done on the 15th and find out the results on the 27th. My hubby always goes with me for those. Say a prayer for me if you could! Love n (((HUGZ))) Nutter

What a busy summer! I ma sorry so long in between posts!
Our middle son got married. We gained an awesome daughter! They were actually on the cover of a small town magazine!

We took the kids to Six Flags and visited my SIL

I did 5 Pay it forwards! So I have done a lil bit of crafting.

I am currently working on some Halloween stuff. Just so hard to get into crafting lately. It has been so hot! Texas has been having the worst drought since the 50's! I am so ready for some of the rain that our New England neighbors are getting. At this point I would be looking forward to a hurricane! Our poor pond is down at least 5-6ft! It is usually the kids local hang out. But since it has been so low, I don't want the kids swimming in it. We did get a few scattered showers this week and saw an amazing rainbow!

Work has been taking up a lot of my time as well. I got a promotion and do all kinds of stuff now. I really love my job and the people I work with. It keeps me busy.
If you don't have a Facebook you don't know what your missing. I have found so many friends from school as well as tons of fellow artists. I am a bit consumed by it! Right now my current addiction is Frontier ville. A game on FB. If you do have a FB feel free to add me.

Now on the the not so great news. Aug 15th was my birthday. I had planned a giveaway, but we had a tragedy. Our horse Maverick got sick, real sick. Paint horses have a genetic problem I didn't know about. Has something to do with their intestines. He was down on his side and we thought it was colic. I ran to get mineral oil and he ran to the vet for some pain meds to help relive him. Well we finally got him up and walking but something still wasn't right. He felt cold to the touch and wasn't acting right. We ended up calling our vet out to check him. She pulled us over to the side away from our kids and said he needed surgery which would be at the minimum $7500 with no guarantee. So with heavy heart we decided to end his pain. I ran to the house crying. I couldn't be out there. I think half our neighborhood came out that night. I cried myself to sleep. A neighbor brought his tractor down to help with the burial. If you have never had a horse, you will know how painful this is. He had the bluest eyes that were so human like. And a personality to match. He would drink tea out of our cups, eat ice cubes, drink beer. He was a real goober. I am going to miss him so much. I felt like a balloon and someone just stuck a needle in me. This was my hubby's horse. They had a bond like no other, everyone knew it too. He was gentle giant that would lick you like a puppy. I am going to miss him for eternity.

I finally finished up these 6 cuties and hope you like them as much as I liked making them! There will be no patterns to follow. I have decided to just keep them originals.

Gone to the Dogs! and another 6 month check up! n freebie shhhh!

Good morning fellow bloggers! I wanted to pop in and let you know what has been going on with me. Last week I went for another 6 week check up at MD Anderson, all day testing. Ughhh! Well tomorrow I find out the results. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers if ya could! They always stress me out. My youngest daughter went with me for the tests and my hubby will go with me in the morning for the results.

I have also been working on some new pieces! I have 2 Maltese dogs and some boxers and a schnauzer! I thought I had posted pics of the boxer and schnauzer, but couldn't find a post! So here they are now! They are still works in progress! In fact I will be working on them today! My middle daughter suggested I do more animals because she thinks they are so cute. So she is my lil advisor! LOL I hope to get these finished today!

3 new dolls Valentines n St. Patty!

Good evening blogging friends! Lots has been going on here! We just celebrated our 17yr anniversary! We went bowling with our girls! Had a blast!
I managed to get these 3 cuties finished in between family time and work! If your interested in them, let me know. Make an offer! Otherwise I will be putting them up on Ebay.
I have to work early tomorrow, then I will be off for 3 days! YES I said 3 days!!! Gosh how I miss being a stay at home mom! Though I do love my co-workers! It is the getting ready and driving to work I don't like! LOL Speaking of work we just had our Christmas party yesterday! We always wait till Jan. to have it because it is too busy to do it during the holidays! We had it at a friend of ours' restraunt Mo's BBQ. Needless to say the food was awsome! My middle daughter went with me as my date! LOL

Meet Clementine Valentine Pug!

After a long absence from my studio I finally got back in the groove! :) I had 2 days off in a row and took full advantage of it! This is Clementine Valentine Pug!
Her facial wrinkles are individually stuffed making her face 3 dementional. She has a lil curly Q tail poking through her skirt! She stands on her own wood base painted pink and red for Valentine's day! She will be going up on Ebay this Sunday! So be sure to check back!

New Years 2011 Special quilt!

I know I am late posting but I was having fun with some out of town guest! My hubby's bff since 4th grade and his wife came up with their RV. My MIL came up too. We had a bunch of kids over and had a blast. We cleared out the living room, decorated it and hung a disco ball!
The best part of New Years was when my hubby's friends wife and I were talking and I was showing her my antique quilts. I was telling her that I wasn't lucky enough to have a grandma to have made me one. That all of mine have been bought. I just love them even the tattered ones. Next thing I know she disappeared. She walked back in with a quilt in her hand. It was so pretty! She said her grandmother made it. How awsome! Next thing I know she is telling me it is mine! I was like NO!!! You can't give me your grandmothers quilt! But she kept insisting and said she would give it to my hubby! (he loves quilts too!) I just cried!!! I love her to death!
Here is how I display my quilts. I use an old ladder and hang them on the rungs. The red one is the one she gave me! There is also a pic of me and her! I am on the right and she is on the left.
