Sheeeeees OUT Woo hoo!

OMG!!! She is out! If your not sure what I am talking about... let me do a short re-cap! Last year I was diagnosed with cancer... the same day we signed papers on our new house. Well we had to sell our old house. The market like it was, we had to do something quick. So we did an owner finance. Long story short she hasn't paid us since Jan of this year! That is 6 payments! And during all this my hubby was put on furlow, so needless to say paying for 2 houses and trying to keep our head above water has been tricky! God has been very good to us though! When times were so tight, we didn't know what we were going to do, we just prayed our lil hearts out! And something (God) would always come through for us! It was just too weird and couldn't be coincidental! So fast forward to today! I drive by our old house every day looking to see if the lady is out of our house or not. She had 3 of those Pod things in the yard. Last Tuesday she took one of them off the property, today they were ALL GONE!!! OMG!!! I called my hubby!!! I went home, got changed, loaded up some drinks, my girls, our trailor and headed over to the old house!!! We loaded up rocks and things we had left behind the 1st time. Boy it sure felt weird going back into our old house. Knowing someone else lived there. I had one melt down and started crying. I have so many memories there, my craft room, trees we planted (some she cut down). My FIL passed away in 03 and there are trees there that he planted for us that are so big now. There there are our kids trees. We planted a crepe mertle 1 for each of our 6 kids. The are ginormous! The good news is that we are doing a quick cash buy out with a our realator and will be out from under that whole nightmare at least by the end of this month! We are not making much, but we are going to walk away with some $ in our pocket and be able to breath again! Woo hoo!
Well, thanks for checking in on me! I have to go get some sleep! I have work early in the morning! They are working me almost 38 hours this week! It is inventory week!

Star wrought iron Firewood holder!

Hubby has been busy this week! This is another one of his projects he made from stuff we had laying around! I about died when I saw it! I just love it!!! He says he wants to add more to it, but I love it the way it is! See the stars he welded to it?

New primitive star shelf!

Well this past week hubby was on furlow again. I don't like the part of not being paid, but he likes the time off to get stuff done! I came home from work and he had a suprize for me! This shelf! I think he has to move it up some for the curtains to hang right.


We painted our bathroom a pale blue, but now I don't like it! Just doesn't seem to go with the them of the house! I was trying to think outside the box! Hubby confessed that he wasn't that thrilled about it either. So after all the painting, we have to do it again! I like the color that is on my stairway, so that will most likely be our next color. I want to make it a primitive bathroom! So starting again from scratch! lol Still need curtains too! I am off tomorrow and got off work early today, so maybe I can get stuff done! Lazy susan make over!

This is the lazy susan I picked up in Pa. before



Here it is after! I wanted to put a star in the middle of it, but chickened out! Then remembered the awsome bowls I won at the convention from Jen! They fit perfect! Then I added the yummy candle in the middle!

Ate some mud bugs!

If you don't know what mud bugs are, it is crawfish! After having my chemo treatments last year I went to a friends house and I actually ate them and liked them. Well I thought I would give it another try this weekend, not so much! lol Guess my tastebuds went back the way they were before! lol I took a pic of them too! Gross I know!


We had such a great time, met some more of our neighbors! One lady there thinks her mom knows one of my friends from Primmart! Still need to email her and find out! Small world, huh?
There was this crazy redneck guy that had a syrup bottle filled with jack n coke! OMG! It was too funny! He called it his redneck flask!

Our neighbors just bought some baby chicks! They were so cute!

Oh and speaking of new animals! I forgot to post the pic our our new sheep we got for our oldest daughter for FFA! It's name is Lambchop! We have had her for a month, and today was weigh in. She was the biggest one there! She gained 25lbs!!! I am sooo proud of my daughter! She has been taking such good care of her! Getting up every morning at 5am and feeding her, getting home from school and walking and feeding her!

My LION!!!

My LION! LOL My hubby shaved my cat the day before convention! Don't worry he loves his new look! He is going to be so much cooler this summer too! He just layed there and let him cut him! I also am including a before pic too! Our cutters broke before we could do our Pomeranian! So we need to get a new pair!
Well have to work today at 2pm! Short shift, just 4 hours! I just love those!

Good evening! I finally have a moment to add some pics of my trip to Pa!
OMGosh! I can't even begin to tell you how much fun it was! It was so great seeing familiar faces and some new ones too! I miss them soo much!

Saturday we went antiquing! OMG!!! I was in heaven! The prices were sooo good too! I just needed a Uhaul to get it all home! hehehe On the way there we passed a covered bridge! I just had to snap a pic!


At one of the lil shops we went to she decorated her place up sooo cute! I just loved how she did her lil signs in the gardens! She used rebar and chunky pieces of wood!

Another shop (very over priced! or at least our of my budget!) had this adorable bird cage! But just look at the price! $165!

Next we went to lunch at this awsome restraunt! It was buffet style and all home made! YUMMM!!! Here are a few of the gurls outside!

Sunday we went to the flea market. Apparently it is inside an old amusement park! There was an old wooden rollercoaster and even a mushroom! This is where I found some awsome deals!!! I still don't know how I got everything home on my flight! I even got a watering can for $6!!!
